OUR STORY

From the Shop Floor to the Cloud

In 2012, our founding team was running a mid-size precision machining operation in the Midlands. Every Monday morning meant the same ritual: pulling spreadsheets from five different systems, chasing purchase orders by phone, and hoping the schedule still made sense by Wednesday.

The MRP software we were paying for was slow, inflexible and built for a world that no longer existed. So we started building the tool we wished we had — one that respected how factories actually run, didn't require a two-year implementation, and could be understood by a machine operator in ten minutes.

That side project became MRPCORE. Today it powers production in more than 1,200 factories across 32 countries — from three-person job shops to multi-site manufacturers with thousands of SKUs.

2012 Founded

A Side Project in a Machine Shop

Three engineers build a rudimentary scheduling tool to solve their own factory's planning problems. The first version runs on a single server in the corner of the workshop.

2015 First Product Launch

MRPCORE v1.0 Goes Live

The first commercial version ships with inventory, BOMs and basic production planning. Twenty-two factories sign up in the first six months — all through word of mouth.

2017 100 Customers

Full MRP Engine Released

The complete MRP engine launches, along with multi-level BOMs and shop floor control. The team grows to fifteen and moves into a proper office (with, finally, a real meeting room).

2020 Going Global

Multi-Language, Multi-Currency

MRPCORE expands into ten new markets with localised interfaces, multi-currency support and regional compliance. Customer base crosses 400 factories in 18 countries.

2023 Analytics Reimagined

Real-Time Dashboards & API

A complete analytics rebuild introduces live dashboards, custom KPIs and a full REST API. Enterprise plan launches with SSO and multi-site support.
